Had a good afternoon down at Esso beach. I thought Pagham might be too offshore and Hill Head might be too barrage balloony on a weekend. Arrived around 13.30 and it was quite windy but within minutes the wind died and stayed dead for about an hour.

Eventually it picked up and I went out on a 6.5 which was perfect. A lot less windy than further east but a bonus compared to yesterday's forecast and well in keeping with today's IW forecast which was for more wind in the N Foreland to Selsey Bill bit. The first time I looked at my watch it was gone 7 and I realised I was starving. Always a good sign.

A good session with plenty of dry gybes and a few that were almost good. Some very long runs across the harbour.
